ProjectoMAP is a non-profit research project, with an aim to map the universe of contemporary art in Portugal. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the curators organised a retrospective exhibition at Museu Coleção Berardo (Lisbon).
When selected to enter the map of artists, each artist must nominate two other artists, who will then repeat the nomination process, and so on. This way, the connections grow exponentially, revealing the the artistic landscape in Portugal, as well as the relationships between these artists.
